Social work

FAST Charity has been working with and for the Roma since 1998, offering social and educational services to children and families in the disadvantaged communities from the center of Romania – Brasov county, Sacele region.

Our motto “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime” is integrated in all our projects.

Mission House

Mission House is one of our first integrated social work projects. It offers both educational services, as well as social support for the Roma children and families living in Tărlungeni, a village nearby Brașov. Children receive here a hot meal and enjoy daily social and group activities and literacy lessons. This way they are encouraged to improve their skills and learn in a safe and interactive environment.
